Please see the attached letter regarding the procedures for our first day of school and our open house tomorrow, Tuesday, August 6.

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We hope you and your family have had a great summer! The beginning of the 2024-2025 school year is right around the corner, and we want to share some information with you.

Our first day, Tuesday, August 6^th, will be an early dismissal/modified day for all students and will go as follows:

Bus Riders: Buses will be unloaded beginning at 7:15am. Bus riders will be directed to the gym or the cafeteria.  Breakfast will be served on this morning.  Bus riders will load and depart from school between 9:00 and 9:15am to be taken home.  Please make sure students know their transportation arrangements including bus number if they ride the bus. 

Car Riders: Car riders may come through the car rider line beginning at 7:15am to pick up their back-to-school packet.  Teachers will have their bus riders in the building to monitor, so this will be a quick grab and go outside the cafeteria.  Students do not stay at school on this day. Car riders, along with parents/guardians are welcome to come in for Open House between 10:00am-12:00pm or 5:30pm-6:30pm wherein teachers will have more time to talk.  The purpose of Open House on this day is for parents/guardians and students to meet the teacher, share how students will be going home each day with the teacher, and to see the classroom before the first full day. 

Open House: Open House may be attended during either of the two specified times on August 6^th.  We look forward to seeing returning parents/guardians and meeting new ones!

Cafeteria News: We are happy to let you know that breakfast and lunch will be free this school year.  Our cafeteria is looking forward to serving your students this year.
