Mrs. Simpson has great compassion for children and a desire to provide every opportunity for each child to learn. She is committed to seeing children succeed both inside and outside the classroom. She strives daily to encourage students to do their best, sets high expectations, and ensures students rise to the occasion. She works tirelessly to advocate for students and their needs. As an avid reader, Mrs. Simpson works to instill a love of reading throughout Jefferson Middle School.

Mrs. Simpson holds a bachelor's and a master's degree from Carson Newman University. She and her husband Steve have two children. Mrs. Simpson lives in Jefferson County and is committed to making her community a better place to live and raise children.
